On March 11, 2011, a tsunami slammed this Bertram 57 with a 133-foot tidal wave. The entire marina simply vanished. Believing his beloved Golden Bay survived, Mr. Nozowa searched the Pacific by helicopter. Miles off the coast, he found her in remarkable shape and jumped in after her. He climbed aboard, started up the engines and headed home.
