Located: Torino, Italy
Construction: Fiberglass
Category: Motor Yacht, Express Yachts, Flybridge
Worth Noting: Azimut is Italy’s largest boat manufacturer.
Paolo Vitelli established Azimut Yachts in 1969. From the humble beginnings of chartering sailboats, Azimut has grown to become a leader in the production of luxury flybridge yachts.

Founded in Turin, Italy, the company’s emergence into the yachting industry began from distributing boats of other prestigious yachting brands. Within their first year of business, Azimut rapidly grew its operations and began designing yachts. Through a successful joint venture with Amerglass, the first fiberglass motor cruiser was born, the AZ 43 BALI.

The range of motor cruisers extended downwards with the introduction of the AZ 32 Targa model in 1977. Soon after, the Azimut 105’ Failiaka, which was the biggest mass-produced yacht in fiberglass at the time, made its debut in 1982. Today, Azimut Yachts offers one of the most comprehensive range of yachts in the world, from small flybridge motor yachts to massive fiberglass superyachts.

Azimut Yachts is known for their timeless beauty and Italian essence. Crafted to ensure comfort and safety, Azimut features elegant design and are equipped with premium technology.
